 Abstract:  The Cleveland Writers' Club was founded in 1886 as the Cleveland Woman's Press Club. From 1888 to 1912 it was called the Ohio Women's Press Association, due to a merger with a similar club in Cincinnati which later withdrew. In 1922 it became the Cleveland Writers' Club. The collection consists of literary works, programs, membership rosters, minutes, reports, newsletters, correspondence, contest notices, financial statements, newspaper clippings, scrapbooks, and members' biographies.
